MY DECISION
I will strive to still be the best
Though my faith is being put to test
I will be different from the rest
Who due to trials lose their zest
Like an eagle out of its nest
I will fly north,south,east and west
To gather more strength for my quest
Till my sorrow turns to joy-fest
Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
