MY BLANKIES

My blankie is there with me through thick and thin;
It holds a lot of of security within.

My blankie is full of colors and length just for me;
The security it has makes me feel free.

My blankie was made for my first son, corey and then handed down to my babie, son, Will;
It holds a lot of memories and I love the way it feels.

My blankie has love that is more than you will ever know;
Cause my boys are a part of this and I love them so.

My blankie is used for the security when i feel unsafe and more;
But the blankie we shared has a lot in store.

My blankie i will always treasure with love,
Cause it has been blessed and touched from God above.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
