    Mortal Love

It sits for me in infamy
    That which shall never be
    Loved shall I never be
For love for me is out of grasp

Told I was the other day
That married I shall never be
By a mortal one of she

Now I sit in a pit
To wallow in this eternal fit
For love for me is in infamy
    It just shall never be
