Morning in the Brigg

The Brigg that Morning was dark & so Bleek
as Scallywags Awoke & rose to their feet!
"It's Neigh time to leave" one Buckaneer shouted
the rest we forlorn and sat back & Pouted!
Aye, a second click's by,
in the blink of an eye,
But here in the Brigg time slows to a stop!
Seconds like minuets take fer ever to drop.

Time Marches on I saw scratched on the wall.
& other's epiath's some BIG and some small.
many names I see some I know some I don't
I want to "HAIL AHOY" But I know that I wont. "CLICK" goes the Clock,
like tic is to tock.
My time is now done The Britt's set me FREE!
To the middle O the Map that's where I'll be!
