Modern Insanity

Modern Insanity

One moment your standing there
To move you do not dare
What used to seemed so clear
You now watch disappear

On the cutting edge of modern insanity
Stop, brace your self for calamity
As you watch your life spin faster and faster
As you quickly spin into the abyss of disaster

Suddenly finding your self in a cold place
Numbed the pain to not show in your face
Dark and alone carrying this load
Jump aboard as we sale off to the unknown

Crash land into the feeling of doubt
Realizing the things you cant live without
On this planet of fear and pain
don’t worry its just me going insane

Exellent write, I think we all feel like this at one time or another.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
