Missing Home
All this driving has me thinking
On this old familiar road
And as I roll the window down
To smell the air that brought me home
Time has changed the landscape
All the trees and fields are gone
The notalgia of my memories
It is all that's left of home
I had to leave for something
A restlessness and lure
Around the world and nothing
could satisfy or cure
I've strived to be so special
Advenurous and bold
By gaining all these stories
I've given up my home.
On this old familiar road
And as I roll the window down
To smell the air that brought me home
Time has changed the landscape
All the trees and fields are gone
The notalgia of my memories
It is all that's left of home
I had to leave for something
A restlessness and lure
Around the world and nothing
could satisfy or cure
I've strived to be so special
Advenurous and bold
By gaining all these stories
I've given up my home.
