may 7 2009 untitled

violet beneath the vapors
illusions below the rain
restless before the splintering light
we examine ourselves among luminous hues
behind a nicotine wall
damp skins collide with humidity
we envision a poisonous meaning
behind the fading moon
we want to unlearn the past
For how long will we illuminate this space?
