Lust will bring us together
The sun glistens off your sun bronzed skin,
beads of perspiration trickle from your brow.
You lie so still beneath the bows of the elm tree,
I dare not touch you.
I fear I might awaken the beast in your soul again
if I so much as breath in your direction.
I cannot help but stare at your beauty,
still as you lie.
For it seemed that only a moment ago
you were so passionate and wild in my arms.
Both of us aching to be as one.
So sleep my angel.
Sleep until you have gathered your strength.
For I will again awake the beast within you,
and we shall be as your body and soul ache for...
we shall be as one.
beads of perspiration trickle from your brow.
