    Poem Commentary

This one is kinda personal... but have a glimpse if you like...

    Love and Hate abated

Sometimes, I really love to hate you.

Like when every simple answer, is avoided like a cancer...
Or when I'm showing you the beauty, and you act like its my dutie...
The days you waste my time just crying, and you're sure that I am lying...
Times you twisted up your own word, while acting like its absurd...
Sneeking out to visit the friend, you promised not to see again...
Scowling at my new mistakes, thinking all my friends are fakes...

Sometimes, I really hate to love you.

Like when I've simply read it wrong, or you listened to my song...
Or if you've seen it all the while, and you shoot me with that so-sly smile...
The days you up and stole the show,  and I was the last to know...
Times you soothed me with a word, something gentle and sweet I heard.
Sneeking out to clean the truck, so maybe today we'll have some luck.
Scowling at anyone who hurts my pride, always standing on my side.

Sometimes, I hate myself for not loving you enough.
