Lock Solid
Boxed within these walls
Relying on delineated structure
Safeguarded from unseen wickedness
That basks in the filth of gutters
Crouched in predatory fashion
Anticipating its next quarry.
Lock Solid
Boxed within these walls
Relying on delineated structure
Safeguarded from unseen wickedness
That basks in the filth of gutters
Crouched in predatory fashion

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
