Living for the Moment to Fly

Living for the Moment to Fly

Now is the time to tell you
exactly how I feel,
what is so hard to put into words
two birds flying
in different directions
not wanting to face what is real.
Will we meet again someday
soaring high above the sky?
Or will I be lonely all of my life
Living for the moment to fly.
As soft as the dove,
as gently as the swan;
love's light breathes goodnight
to the stars up above.
When we open our eyes
to the dawn of our lives,
the holiest of land
will bless wings to our hands.
My love we shall indeed meet again
gliding high above the sky,
love will forever guide me;
When at last I say goodbye.
