Let Go Let God!
I look in the mirror and see a grown, confident woman staring at me.In her subconscious she has been trapped, scared, and a lonely little girl.
She was physically abused, neglected, and sexually molested you know.
But even when she was small she was ever so wise.
She listened to that small inner voice of God telling her, "you will FLY."
It's been whispering to her and urging her to Let Go!
She allowed God to take that toll and lift her off the ground.
She became a new person with a brand new soul.
She is a witness of Christ's power and tells the world that she is redeemed.
So listen up world and see what she means.
She is telling everyone to recognize Gods presence and experience the "New Birth" within.
She looks in the mirror approaching 50 anxiously counting days and nights.
She can't help but cast a smile on her face that beams wide and shines bright.
She is thankful and humble drawing off of a resevoir of faith.
Sharing her testimony through poetry, songs, serving others and praise.
She has that inner JOY that no man can take from her.
She proclaims it to the world by saying. "I've won!"
She gives credit to none other than our Savior, God's only son.
She welcomes God's Holy Spirit.
He's her true friend, her guide, and companion.
She confesses and confides in Jesus who walks with all men.
She knows continually praises him, Yes , Yes , Lord Amen.
She looks closely in the mirror full of pride and much more.
She is awaiting on God's blessings and what he continues to have in store.
She is NOT taking shortcuts, making excuses, being headstrong, being unreasonable, being jealous, being envious, being weak, being unlovable, being unworthy, and not trusting----- Not living like that-------No MORE !
All these things were her past mental makeup for sure.
She let go and Let God! do all that he said he would do.
She invites you to do the same.
Be open to his love, welcome his Spirit-----Become NEW!
Amen
