Lake Road
Each time I make a sting, the money is easy but it don't solve a thing.
Turn a corner, buy some dope, sometimes wax and lose all hope.
Step for step, street for street, I'm kidding myself these ends will never meet.
Up for days walking mile after mile. I'ts a wonder this life can produce a smile.
Talk is cheap and sex is cheaper, if you find a way out; run don't just stand there.
The path I've chosen to walk was a decision I made myself, still they're are those who choose to judge me as they're stuck upon they're shelf.
So, don't ever quit trying and don't lay your cards down; because if you do on LAKE ROAD it's six foot underground.
