    It's My Life

    I can feel the pain,
    Oh it hurts so bad.
    Everything is so vivid.
No one knows my pain and anguish
    No one cares to ask
I keep everything bottled up inside
Never tell, never let anyone in
    I want to move on
But the pain comes rushing back to hunt me.
Where do I go from here
I want to get past it
    I don't know  how but I'm trying
It's been well over a decade ago
I just need to forget it forever
    But I can't
It's just something I have to deal with
They say everything happens for a reason,
all though I can't find the reason here!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
