im afraid

i guess you are right.
i am afraid.
i am afraid to put my guard down.
i am afraid that if you know
all that i am you wont feel the same.
And i am afraid that once my barrier
is defeated and i am comfortable,
that you'll walk away. I just hope
you care enough about me to tear
down the walls that i've put up to keep
from getting hurt!
