I wont be the other woman

At this point in my life I have composed
                   a beautiful woman of morals.
I suppose that you expect for me to accept it respect me
a woman of self- worth who can't stand to be hurt
                                 neither treated like dirt.
Even worse cursed for being merciless disreguarding the
                                  life with your wife.
Although I must admit you entice me with your
persistence. Committment is a must as a woman
I am deserving of a righteous man I can call my
own. I will not disarm my values, expectations
aspected of my prospective husband to be when
this is the next phase in my life to be someones wife.
I won't be the other woman when I yearned and
earned the right to given the full package a
                           a keeper not a creeper

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
