    I Wish

    I wish things were different,
    Where we are together.
I wish your the one I could hold,
When the nights get so cold.
I wish you could tell me,
Every feeling that you hide inside.
I wish I could show you,
All the love I have is true.
    I wish while I slept,
    The dreams were true.
Because then it would be a world,
    For just me and you.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
