    I saw her tonight

I met her before but only for a few minutes.

Tonight was different tho , tonight we spent several hours together watching movies with mutual friends.

Intently I listen as she spoke, her words dripped from her lips like honey from the comb.

After a while she quietly sang to the music on the movie delicate but deliberate her voice echoed in my heart.

Feelings unlike any i have felt in years started rushing in.

Nothing I could ever do with my remaining time on earth could ever make me DESERVE this wonderful young woman.

I know better than to even dream of her , I must be content with just sharing a movie.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
