I miss you
I miss you so much,
Words can't describe,
How many tears,
I have cried and cried.
I wish i could see you,
And hold you each day,
To make you feel loved,
In so many ways.
I miss your bright smile,
That glimmer in your eyes,
How can i live,
Without you at my side.
I miss the way we use to play,
All over the house,
With each passing day.
I really do miss you,
I wish you could see.
Its not about us,
Its about HIM and ME.
He is the foundation,
On which my love grows.
Oh God do i miss him,
I really hope he knows.
He is my son,
If no one could tell.
He is my reason,
That i won't go to hell.
So this is my poem,
It came from the heart.
I just wanted him to know,
That it tears me up that we are apart.
I tell him i love him,
When its time to go.
I cry as he leaves,
And no one else knows.
So tell him i miss him,
with each passing day.
Daddy still loves you,
Even though i am away.
So this is my poem,
To my son i do write.
Goodnight my sweet prince,
Daddy still loves you tonight
