    Happy Place

    Everyone has a happy place
Why not describe yours to me
    A cosey little happy place
To feel safe all the time
Never a sad moment have I had while I was there
Being wrapped up in strong loving arms
    Soothing sounds all around
    Comfort with the biggest smile
I close my eyes to get there sometimes
But occasionally get lost along the way
It's a rocky road I must say, to get to my happy place.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
