Happy Mother's Day

Well Mother's Day comes once again

Mom it's your one and special Day

Love is being spread all around

Your sons and daughters love you very much

Your grandkids play here and there with their love for you

Although I may act grouchy at times

And you think I love you no more

You're wrong; I love you with all of my heart and more!

Mom you're my one and special mom

No one is as special as you are

You are the love inside of me

You are my life when I think I don't have any

You make me laugh when I thought I couldn't laugh no more

Although your goofiness makes me sick at times

That will never make me love you less

Momma we love you with all of our hearts

And momma nothing will ever change that love in our hearts and yours!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
