Guts
When all natural forces began to erupt
and the world we know was to self-destruct
Love I'd take with me, all else I'd leave behind
as thanks to the earth that was robbed from me blind,
I never knew of peace and tranquility....
I would walk into the flame, tsunami or hurricane
with my arms wide spread with that grin of mine, twisted,
comforted by the fact; I at least existed
Made my mark.
It's time to depart...
and the world we know was to self-destruct
Love I'd take with me, all else I'd leave behind
as thanks to the earth that was robbed from me blind,
I never knew of peace and tranquility....
I would walk into the flame, tsunami or hurricane
with my arms wide spread with that grin of mine, twisted,
comforted by the fact; I at least existed
Made my mark.
It's time to depart...
