Grand Lady of Rhyme
GRAND LADY OF RHYME
I asked the Grand Lady of Rhyme,
For a new poem if she had the time.
Without hesitation she had pen in hand,
And wrote me a verse delightful and grand.
Her thoughts were of love and sharing,
And her words were tender and caring.
What she wrote she wrote just for me,
Fulfilling words flowing in true ecstasy.
How she pleases me with words sublime,
Always in harmony, always with rhyme.
Oh what a lady she’s my Poetic Queen,
Divine like an angel in a midnight dream.
I’d like to write something just for her,
Words that will give her great pleasure.
But there are no words that I can write,
To express my feelings of pure delight.
