Glimpses and Dreams
In memories and dreams
Are the only glimpes it seems
Of your face; of your smile
The vastness that seperates us more than mile
These glimpese; these dreams; only memory
The you of the past that I see
I don't know who you are now
I wish that I could see you somehow
The chasm of the heart, too deep to cross
Leaves me to mourn the living loss
Sitting Alone I stare
Into the glimpses in dreams of a past somewhere
Are the only glimpes it seems
Of your face; of your smile
The vastness that seperates us more than mile
These glimpese; these dreams; only memory
The you of the past that I see
I don't know who you are now
I wish that I could see you somehow
The chasm of the heart, too deep to cross
Leaves me to mourn the living loss
Sitting Alone I stare
Into the glimpses in dreams of a past somewhere
