Give us life again
So here I am,
Lost because you ran
I’ve been sitting for days
Lost in a never ending daze
Now I’m all alone
With a broken bone
A cold heart
And destroyed body parts
You put me here
And now I’m in fear
Give us life again
So here I am,
Lost because you ran
I’ve been sitting for days
Lost in a never ending daze
Now I’m all alone
With a broken bone
A cold heart
And destroyed body parts
You put me here
And now I’m in fear
A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
