Life isn’t always rich chocolate fountains;
it’s had spills throughout the night,
and scorches,
and dysfunctional spouts,
spoiled.
All this time
I thought it would be thrilling, fun, and even glamorous...
absolutely perfect!
Yet in the end,
after it’s turned off and stowed away,
you realize that you ate too much,
the party is over, and you feel full.
Gluttonous, greedy, vain
I never knew when the party was over,
when to quit nibbling on what seemed so pure.
Don’t smell or taste too often,
you’ll find yourself wanting to be with the fabulous stars with their pricey fountains.
Even though there’s milk and white and bittersweet,
step outside the dark rich fountain area,
and find healthier options. Don’t cave into temptation,
don’t overindulge
and whatever it is, never ever over dip.
