Most sites With Admin ,can Ban a disruptive member, and deny access ...but on Places like OP it might be a bit difficult, But we can Protect those that Are bein' Harassed..Both Privately and Publicly, the cyber world opens doors to many opportunities and sometimes the ugly..we just as a Community have to keep it in check.Tierra[/i

Yes Hope they messed with us hard. But here's the deal- they won't step it up/ they have turned their backs on their committments here, On us! It is up to us to handle things if we want to share this land.. we can only do that by laying out the rules and respect guidlines before we start.

Papapackzi did set up a poetry site for us too. But so many refused to relocate to there. He tired though

as much as I would love to rebuild our community, our extended family, there lies one hudge barrier. Papa tried to take over OP many moons ago and he was axed. From what he told me the owner could care less what we think, they are content with the money they are making on the site and would rather see OP burn to dust before they give up the rights to the site. question lies, what can we really do???

Exactly Tierra!! It's up to us.. there is no one to cry to, but each other.. and we need to ostrasize those who are here to bring us down.. it's our only defense.

the real issue that stands in out way is the owners of OP. Papa tried many moons ago to take over OP, they axed him. He offered to buy them out, they said they would rather see OP burn to dust than give up the rights to OP.

truth is without the owners support we have no power, papa was our only link and he is long gone. Maddi you know better than anyone, the owners just don't care what we think and what we want.

Angel.. I know. But they cant stop us from using the land here.. that's my point, we build a mutal undrestanding on how to treat each other, how to keep the peace.. and we just reconect- write and share. We cant take it over the jerks wont sell.. but we can move in again!! But it is up to us to keep this place peacful! This is my vision.

Hi Sweetie, I was just mentionin' it coz in a smaller community it helps to be read rather than to push existin' poetry away..now on a big site as OP...geez I can only imagine..it was just a suggestion..too bad this site doesn't have a post date area for our poetry...post them and allow it to automatically be posted..
I've been on the smaller communities that have many posts per day,thatincludes the max per writer. there are times when I can not read, comment and Feature but there are a good number of staff to keep the flow..

this thead as we are commenting is already messing up, either a glitch the owerns care less to fix as usual or they are on to us and deleting our comments as we are trying to post, either way it seems like a lost cause , sad really... truth is without papa we have no power and even as powerful as our combined voices can be, the problem is the owners don't bother to listen.

I noticed a glitch earlier.

I would love to move back in to a working site, but the issue is the owners have let the site go to crap. last time I was one, the chatroom kept crashing, the contest is long long gone, even posting and reviewing poems doesn't work properly like before. The issue remains without papa or someone to take his place, there is noone working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. The site is now filled with tons of bugs and glitches, what do we do about that???
