I have had interaction with David on this and other sites - I generally refer to him as the poetry nazi. he is indeed, a sick man - and not really worth tangling with. If his self adopted role of professorial condescension is disrespected he goes all wonky - and is cruel and vindictive. that's one dog I'd as soon leave sleeping -

Hey Jezz - the guy is just sick. and he loves the attention. I say his need for self-gratification and validation (even if it's all negative) and hey, there's always this - he seems overly familiar with the concept of himself as a "disenfranchised penis" that he obviously knows he's just a dick. His metaphors never transcend beyond those of a pissed of fourth grader, retaliating for hurt feelings - did you hurt his feelings? They are easily bruised and treated with more consideration than they merit. Sorry you're the target - I got this treatment from him a few years ago when I was an administrator on another site. The absolute worst thing you could do is to ignore him - he's all bark, no bite, just a sad, sorry little man with illusions of grandeur. Shall we disillusion him? it is an lesson in futility - I've already tried. self-deception on his level is mental illness - in which case, he's no fun to play with. Be well my friend, and let your heart be light in this - the only thing that matters in the end is that no one cares what he says but him.

Please do not follow this link. That is exactly what he wants. Unfortunatly I did go listen to his rant. Then it dawned on me that he gets a count of reads. Most of his crap has less than five (which are probably his own hits) while this one was over 50. If you go check it out it plays right into his sick hands. He wants the attention any way he can get it.

Anyway, my attorney noticed how you guys like to throw around the word "sick" with reference to me, with the implication of mental illness. He asked me to ask all of you exactly what the basis for your diagnosis and what medical school you guys graduated from, since none of you appear to have the title of "DR" in front of your names. However, he said that you guys should continue with the mental illness references, maybe throw in some "crazy" stuff as well, because he says it will make it alot easier for us. So keep up with the good work, and I'll see you all real soon!

Believe it or not, I am still trying to teach you guys how a real poet "rolls". When I was teaching, I was concentrating on the skill portion of poetry. You guys did not accept my teaching. That's OK, however, there is an even more basic component to, not only poetry, but to all writing in general; and that is, actually having something to write about! You guys are conformists, and know that the price of keeping up the facade of "community" and "family", is to "keep the peace" and "not make waves", ie. you gotta "make nice" for Gumby and his asshole buddies. In your world, it is a crime to be different, because if you're different, than you'll be considered as "wierd". The fact that you've all ganged up on me, shows very clearly that there is no room for dissent, and if you get on Gumby or his clique's "bad side", you will be isolated, ostracized, demonized, harassed and viciously attacked and defamed. If this is in fact, a community, as you claim, then I WAS A MEMBER OF THIS COMMUNITY! In a real community, an injury to one, is an injury to all. How come I was "thrown under the bus"? How come Helios was "thrown under the bus"? It is true that poetry requires skill, but above all, YOU MUST HAVE SOMETHING TO WRITE ABOUT! I submit to you that because you are, for the most part, lilly livered, gutless, backstabbing, two faced appeasers who are into this phony "peace and light" pseudo spirituality that Yoga Boy is trying to ram down your collective throat. You're part of Gumby's "petting zoo"! So, in conclusion, because you guys are so afraid of confrontation, you will never really have anything to write about, so your poetry is going to smell, for the most part. Then, all of you want to publish books? Why? So you can glut the market with unedited, low quality "poetry" so that it's harder for skilled, sincere "real" poets to publish their books? DON'T PUBLISH A BOOK WITHOUT GETTING EDITED BY AN OUTSIDE, INDEPENDENT SOURCE! PLEASE DON'T PUT OUT SHITTY BOOKS OF BAD POETRY!!! GET EDITED FIRST!!!
