I said to my self, Oh my I love this mans work. I found Pocomania, and pressed print so I can read it to my mother, as you know Oren, my mother is blind. I had to share that poem to her, I recite it different then you, but the charm and faith of the poem is there. Your heart Oren touches me. I always think wow, why am I liked by you to have such an honor to be your friend, and then you ask me to be in a book with you. When you asked me that Oren, I was like me, this man of wisdom, and faith wants to be published with me. I went to work that day telling all of friends, my closet friend Steven, loved i. He is a great man without him I would not have been there in those times at the library. Anyways, Oren, happy tears, and breathing positive air here, and now. I'am deeply honored by this, and feel good. I do love this site, and I give OP all of my ideas, because I believe in all of us. The world can be a dark place. You and Madelynn, and all my true friends here, have made my life so much better. 3 years ago, life was bad. But I had a intervention, that Maddi and Papa, knows about. And I was determined to stand for love, and Poetry. I gave God my word, and now today watching this tells me. God is good.I knew that anywaym but this is just another tightening of the bolt. I never wanted to be a statistic, I want to make a difference for all of us, and the children of Poetry. Oren your house looks so pleasent, gosh I want to go there, and sit outside, and talk, and hear anything you say. I want to meet your family, and walk the countryside, and make videos, one day with all faith. I have saved the envelope, and the stamps, I made a book marker out of it for our book, cool huh.. Oren, I love you... John E WordSlinger Last edited by WordSlinger 11-23-2010 at 07:14:22 PM |

Notes From John E. WordSlinger Ok this can be done, all that are interested..This is what I know. Our site here has an Account, Papa will have to beef it up, and set up an email account, so we can send your videos to. http://www.youtube.com/user/originalpoetry Poets are doing this all over the world. I have friend Poets on my channel every where, and they are producing audio recordings. Nice huh, me and Maddi are working on hers next year. We are looking for an engineer near us to do a pro job. But these tools Im going to show you, can get the ball rolling. 1 you need a web cam, or a camera, learn it. and the software it has to enable your tool 2.Set up accounts @ http://www.youtube.com http://www.vimeo.com Here is a live feed for your camera http://www.ustream.tv Why youtube, and vimeo, well you want a fan base don't you. why live, because it will attract more people on your page. 3. ok here is the neat tool MP3ify has arrived! Use mp3ify to convert YouTube videos to mp3s! Take mp3s wherever you go in your ipod, burn cds, import to iTunes, & more! http://www.mp3ify.com/index-original.html This here, if you have a good software and mics, you will not need a studio and a high $ engineer for making cds, I'll look for a mp3 convertor to regular audio so bare along, 4. Now if Papa sees that this is working, and going well. I have discussed this with him before, OP may set up a section like this, and this site, you also can upload to. http://www.thestage.tv Now this is for one on one face to face poetry, or you can get creative, and have a crew boom mic walk in the park style, with a robotman camera man. Creativity is endless. enjoy Greetings from Maddi & WordSlinger on Vimeo. Please turn up your Volume because this it's to low. Sorry, but updating soon.. Maddi, Your dreamy eyes open and close like that of an old-time porcelain doll, mesmerizing me into love and light and heaven....though I couldn't hear your words, your eyes fulfilled my poetic need, dazing me with happiness. dazed dah |

RE: Poem Reciting. Poets Video ChainMaddi and John Happy 2011 greetings to you and yours, and to all at OP too of course! Now you have the sound and rhythm working great for your readings perhaps you can enlighten us witht he secrets of getting our poetry out there and spoken aloud to the world through OP? It's something I guess many of us would like to try our voice at, but wonder how many of us will come across quite so confidently? All the best for the New Year hope it brings with it newer exciting times! ;'d |

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
