That's a great idea

Often times I read a poem on OP and can't help but long to hear it recited; there are just certain poems that hit one that way. Many of us share the same love of certain poets; it would be wonderful to hear them recite their work.

Just another idea, wouldn't it be great if the winners of the OP contests would be invited to recite their poems...I wished there was a click button here to listen too.

I happen to love Maya Angelou, reading her poetry is so uplifting; one night I had the opportunity to hear her recite her poetry WOW what a spiritual experience...I never read her the same...now when I read her work...I can hear her passionate voice in the reads.

I hope the powers that be are listening

Ok this can be done, all that are interested..This is what I know.
Our site here has an Account, Papa will have to beef it up,
and set up an email account, so we can send your videos to.

Poets are doing this all over the world.
I have friend Poets on my channel every where,
and they are producing audio recordings.
Nice huh, me and Maddi are working on hers next year.
We are looking for an engineer near us to do a pro job.
But these tools Im going to show you, can get the ball rolling.

1 you need a web cam, or a camera, learn it.
and the software it has to enable your tool

Why youtube, and vimeo, well you want a fan base don't you.
why live, because it will attract more people on your page.

3. ok here is the neat tool
MP3ify has arrived! Use mp3ify to convert YouTube videos to mp3s!
Take mp3s wherever you go in your ipod, burn cds, import to iTunes, & more!

This here, if you have a good software and mics,
you will not need a studio and a high $ engineer
for making cds,
I'll look for a mp3 convertor to regular audio so bare along,

4. Now if Papa sees that this is working, and going well.

Now this is for one on one face to face poetry,
or you can get creative, and have a crew boom mic
walk in the park style, with a robotman camera man.
Creativity is endless.

Hello Maddi, I can see you better but with volume at full blast I could not hear you speaking. It seems to be the same problem as with the other video but with better lighting. I would love to hear your voice but do not know the solution to the problem. Olan.

Well Olan- it's all rough draft first to break in a new way to we can share poetry- Im the guinne pig-lol.. ok, now the volume issue, this is a dell laptop with factory software Im on- and this is all we have to video with right now- un, we cranked our master volume, and we can hear it perfect-On start menu taskbar, click on speaker icon, and be sure the wave volume is all the way up- also, if you have a bass system kick it on!-lol, try that and let me know.. hugz,Maddi

Ok like I said-digi cams, and boom mics, and a soft ware program
like quick time is the way to go, but hey, little by little we can do it.

First batter up, eh? My volume is all the way up in every area, possible. I have no problem with other youtube video clips, with other video poetry posts or with video chats so I don't think it is my hearing, smile.
