and the Poets of Blood.
Your name will be added, and your add-ins
will be your copyright in the book.
All of the proceeds from the book will go to food banks,
and programs devoted to helping the hungry and homeless.
We have starter poems & stories, but you are welcome to donate one yourself.
We are getting registered for a non-profit organization
in the state of Illinois for a start, and then branch out soon.

Poets,
Ok lets not frighten readers away,
lets frighten them with imagery.
Lets look at the poems started.
New starter poems, and stories can be added..

First of all
Theme, is the scenario, lets keep the theme on the surface.
Second the purpose of the poem, and that is to entertain,
Keeping the readers attention.

Third;
Language; The Heart of the Poem;
the imagery, take your talent, and create a figure, and install
it without, loosing the reader.
I know its a bit hard putting together a fancy stereo cabinet
without the instruction manual, but this is where your skill/talents can shine.
Imagery=Simile, metaphor, and personification.
Fourth is diction, choose words that offer notions.
There are a lot of tools that can be used here.

Fifth;
Structure, is the economy of the poem. Keep the economy the same,
Meaning stanza, keep them effective.
And finally, Rhythm and Rhyme.
Lets look at the themes, and keep them the same.

IN THE DIVINE


Soon the day will end,
Then the night begins,
Out of the fiery spotlight,
Free to indulge my sins.

Under a cover of black,
To the shadows I retreat,
Waiting for the moon,
My transformation is complete.

Under the watchful eye,
That guards us in the night,
That watches our every move,
That dances with delight.

It’s where you will find,
The me that can’t be seen,
In the light of day,
The one that is obscene.

Prowling through the bush,
Hunting what I desire,
My heart begins to race,
My soul is set afire.

And then I finally see her,
My equal, my love, my prey,
We will play in the divine,
Until the start of the day.

We must re-don our mask,
When the sun does rise,
And then no longer bask,
When in the land of lies.

What gets me through my day,
Thoughts of games we’ve played,
So I sit and wait,
For the sun to slowly fade.

Then I will once again,
Be free to roam the night,
To renew my lustful hunt,
And play again in ghostly light.

INSIDIOUS MIND FIELD

Painful thoughts fester like bacterial fiends,
Invading, dividing and killing the dream,
Picturing contusions that bruise the inside,
Sucking the marrow from bones until dried.

Visions bearing the bloodied mouths of youth,
Knowing the darkness is knowing the truth,
The end of all things means beginning anew,
The light in the darkness is coming from you.

Surrounded by fear, entranced and encased,
Immobile it seems, so here I’ve been placed,
Why can’t I see which decision to make?
When truth leads to freedom instead of mistakes.

Countless times my mind redefines,
Coloring its pages outside of the lines,
Indecisively deciding which path to take,
Towards the light, or another heartache.

Mistrusted instincts have led me astray,
Knowing that relief is going away,
The pain weighs me down, anchored and chained,
Futilely fighting, my energy’s drained.

Strength sapping struggles of ideas and words,
Leading to the ridiculously absurd,
Fighting the urge to tuck tail and run,
Knowing that this is more than just fun.

Naturally capricious, decisions aren’t planned,
Remembering that I’ve always been damned,
Stuck in the middle of right and of wrong,
Perhaps this was to be my fate all along.

TRIALS



Angelic tears fall from a devilish face,
I’m out of place; my main goal is to stay in this space.
The things that I trace follow lines in my face,
Misplaced affection only ends in disgrace.

Every tear that is shed from the demon within,
Feeling fear, feeling dread, I’m scared in my skin,
This year has been hell, from the hole that I’m in,
Disappear, and yell at the depth of my sin.

Canonized saints beyond the realm of the now,
Sanitized flaws, gone without knowing how,
Realizing that laws are applied as allowed,
And this lone wolf does play to a bloodthirsty crowd.

Demons, saints and angels in hell,
Screaming in pain from the time that they fell,
Dreaming of days when the pain didn’t swell,
Leaving me dazed… know this feeling too well.

When will I learn to take it in stride?
How long shall I burn for mistakes on this ride?
Will then, I in turn, torture those with out pride…
Seems like eons since the moment I died.

As my soul plunges deeper in the abyss,
The hole that replaces it, is what it is,
Control of it all is all I wanted from this,
The toll that I paid wasn’t worth all the bliss.

The angelic tears that I shed from my heart,
Echo’s my fears that I had at the start,
Ripped in twain, split, as in tore me apart,
My soul down the drain, Hell’s train now departs.

With my torment, it seems, is nearly complete,
And more rent is paid to keep living deceit,
What’s in store for me now, is it only defeat?
I’ll endure what I can for I’ll never retreat.

When this trial by fire comes to a close,
And the angels are free from their torturing foes,
Then the demons can rest and watch as time goes,
Once again I’ll be cleansed and freed from my woes.

Playing With Toys

Pattern me with crimson drops
Slide upon my skin
Red oil slick
I’m so wet
Let the demonic play begin.

Your fire awakens me
From oblivion’s slumber.
Wrenching me neatly from my dreams
I can see you coming
Armed with heat -
Can you see
my waiting opened knees?

You become my center vessel
Stoking this wanton need.
But oh my darling, you must know
I’m the one who’ll feed.

Lovely ruby splatters
Slide down silken walls.
You have whet my appetite -
Get ready now, demon-boy
To give your life to me!

Quickly now! My hunger grows

Adding some blood.

The Encounter


I slip black leather gloves onto my sweaty hands
I hope that every little thing will go according to plan.
I take the mask and slide it over my wet hair.
Lightning crackles, rain pours and thunder blares
I reach in my coat pocket and fumble for the keys
Unlock the rusty door and from the storm I flee.

I slam it shut and flip the light switch
They flicker on , their luminescence marred by dustiness
I see the large steel chair that’s bolted to the ground
And the victim sitting in it, not making a sound.
He must be asleep - I check to make sure he’s bound

I take out the gun, and put in a full round
I cock it, go back to the door and lock it
Then walk slowly up to the victim and stop
I carefully think about how I want this to play out
I wanna look him in the eyes and hear him shout
Hear him beg for mercy - but he won’t get any
I want him to realize what he’s done to me
since the day I was born, and for all of my life.

I was starting to wish that I had brought a knife.

Once I was so full of anger I had forgotten fear
I pulled the sack off his head, but was stunned to the point I couldn't hear -
Just a ringing in my ears and a blurring of my sight.
But when I came to, I knew that this could not be right -

This humanoid figure had no face at all
He was cold as the warehouse wall
I screamed at him “Look at my eyes! Do you know who I am?
Because I know who you are…” I took the pistol and slam!
I hit the thing in the face, but it still didn’t talk!
“Say something to me! Do you know what you’ve done!
Did you think for 15 years that you’d won?
Could you ever predict the day that I’d find you?
You have no eyes, but I know your not blind, you!
All the pain, all the anger, the sadness, the acts…
That was you! These are the fucking facts!
Fine! Don’t say a word! But I’ll end you right here!
I don’t even care if you don’t show fear!
No one will find you, they won’t even look!
You’ll be forgotten, you fucking mentality crook!”

And that’s when it spoke these words so carefully:

“You can never, ever, EVER kill me
If you kill me, you will kill yourself.
You don’t have to forgive, but this rage isn’t good for your health.
Don’t give up, I’m not out to get you, it was just bad luck.
I’m sorry if you wanted me to give a fuck.”

I stared at it for a long time, then pressed the gun against its cold featureless face.
As I thought about the decision, I could feel my heart race
Then I felt a feeling of which I was all too used to
But this time it won, and I simply blew a fuse

I screamed “FUCK YOU YOU SHITHEAD MOTHERFUCKERRR!!!”
Louder than an angry caffeinated trucker.
I shot a bullet straight into his head
But before I got any satisfaction, I too was dead.

That’s when I awoke in a cold sweat.
I was relieved to be alive and in my own bed
Living with bipolar is harder done than said
I try not to let shit like that get to my head.

DAMNED

Crimson tidal waves of pain,
Crashing down upon your shores,
Vortex of sorrow melts your brain,
While angels trade their wings with whores.

The end of everything you know,
Demonic stares from eyes of old,
Bitterness now joins with woe,
Burning hate replaced the cold.

You destroyed the lace of light,
Damned your soul to be with fire,
Falling far from grace, contrite,
While praising love, you fucking liar.

Watching all this from afar,
Silently I sit and smile,
You deserve your fate thus far,
Choke upon acidic bile.

The choice was yours all along,
Spewing venomous acrid breath,
Now praise your master’s name in song,

The haunting forest

My town has a path across the strange forest

but hardly anyone can see it

that is only for the different…

The Forest has a secret lake

you should see that, if you stay sleepless

at the fool moon

especially in June.

You must take someone with you

whose love is forbidden, who lives quietly

and unexpected of the society…

You take a knife and a rope

and a magic box to pick up stones.

I wasn't afraid, it was unusual,

felt disgusting mist and dark silence…

Met a man who didn't know…

He had two stories on his hands

drawn with fresh blood,

one about magic future

the second for pain in the past.

He felt misunderstood

but that is normal for me, I said:

Stay and hold me with paint of destiny!

I entered in the black lake.

First I thought that is a mistake

I got into harm

his body was incredibly warm

when he entered in me with astral spirituality

I saw, he had supernatural ability.

I did n`t see anything

only felt like the trees had eyes

and noticed an echo of the scream,

the forest was trembling and breathing.

I started to fly around my town

I saw all the misery of the everyday life…

Thought that is a nightmare but

I saw only reality

actually I discovered that, so sad!

I like to say thanks

my forbidden lover

for all these stuff….

What should I change?!

Sprits walk among us.
On flooded pathways.
We are unaware.
Of their presence.
Though they are there.
Whispering in our ears.
Telling us of their death.
Telling us dark secrets.

The wind blows off the water.

Negative and positive energies.
Stalking us in the darkness.
Now we can feel their eyes on us.

Last night we left a trail of blood turning dark poets upside down.
We have found a few. The rest of you POBs can see they trail I left.
Seems they are still in shock, shake'm again.
you can do this by checking your friend activity, lest then 12 hours ago.
