Where have all the royalties gone...

The forums look kind of dead, so I thought I would liven them up a bit.
I wonder if any of us winners of poet-of-the-week has gotten any royalties
from the first Anthology book......I haven't heard a peep out of the Original
Poetry team about it. One would think that somebody would reassure us
that we will hear something shortly, or sometime later this decade.....

RE: Where have all the royalties gone...

G,
I hear that, it is summer, and we are here, lol
Ok no I haven't heard a word, but I do have the sweestest idea to
make them sky rocket, but I get paid from the neck down.
Ever heard of Over Worked Under Paid, lol
Please don't take that wrong, I get paid nothing I am just like the rest here,
even though, I have added all of my ideas to the board here,
except the sky rocketing one, Anyways I am sure things will be fine.
That's all I know,

Hi,

Sorry, I thought we had said something about this when we sent the books out. We're planning to do a payout after the first year of sales, which is (I think) December. In the meantime, if you have any questions about how sales are going, send me a private message.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
