Who got hotter chicks? Robbi Burns or TS EliotIs there such a thing as a scholar poet with mass appeal? Most of the poets I've read that are hailed by scholars write mechanical poetry without feeling that an average person couldn't enjoy if they wanted to. It's like they write it for other scholars instead of real people. It seems all pose and no real poetry. I'd rather listen to Bob Dylan and Hank Williams. I guarantee Robert Burns got hotter chicks with his poetry than T.S. Eliot because normal women could relate to what he was saying. What are you folks take on the scholar poets?
