Tribute to the loss of my father

I am new to this site and haven't met too many poets yet. The ones I have met are great and I love this site. I would love feed back on my poems. I want to learn and would love to be critiqued. I am open and willing to learn.

Would you please read the poem I wrote on the anniversary of my fathers Death?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
