Re: Poet Features

Stud Man Dave, Madelynn, & Faith, thanks so much for adding me here, and there is to many to name.
Stud Man Dave mentioned a poet among the missing, he is epiksonic
I have tried to contact him many times, no reply, so maybe he is well.
He is very original, and missed...

Oh what about Bob?????

Re: Poet Features

This appears to me to be nothing but an ego contest...a popularity contest in reverse. Do you realize how bad some poets will feel not seeing someone entering their name. I've looked over a few of these poets works listed here, and I think a lot of them are not worth being considered poetry. I've tried reading this guy wordslinger's stuff, and find nothing poetical about it. But, what the heck, go ahead ladies and gents and do your thing.

Re: Poet Features

Pac asked US to give our opinion on who we enjoy reading! He did NOT ask the guy who only has ONE poem posted to voice his opinion on the way Pac chooses to handle this.
Look, with the poetry contest, many became irritated that THEY,the poets-couldnt choose,or that it was only poets who were-popular-.Now One Poem Guy,is irritated that poets are voicing who they think has earned this right.Hmm-by calling out writers who you dont feel are worthy arent you, doing the same thing-you claim your wanting to avoid?Publically smear poets.
-if you dont like someones work, just dont mention it.
Pac wants to know who you DO enjoy reading-and Im not going to start a back and forth drama with you on this subject,I just really feel we lost enough great poets. We dont need to loose anymore over silliness.

ps-It's only a poetry site One Poem Guy,there is really no need to get this monkey-whooped over it!We are here to respect the art and each other... Just kick back and write-have a rootbeer, and make nice!-
luv~Maddi

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
