    For True Love

If only for a season i was suppose to be happy
It was a great thing to live for
    My heart now a stone
Love made me not feel crappy
As the pain comes and slams the door
This has now broke my every bone
No man I ever loved until you
    That you truly taught me
Now Satan has won as you he stole
    Each day has been blue
It took me too long to see
That I was digging this hole
Now I have to live without your love
For a season I can only hope
You were the greatest best friend
Heart white as a soaring dove
    Broken hearted I now mope
Without you my life shall end

I feel your pain in this one. I am going to repost a poem just for you to read. It is called My Sins Forgiven. I think this may help you out a little right now.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
