    Farwell love, farewell

    days feel like months
    months feel like years.
    there's never a day
that goes by that i dont stop and think of you.
    i see people walk by
i could see that there holding onto each other's love.
and it makes me think -
think of you and how we were always trusting in each other.
    the way we'd kissed under
the tree, so soft and warm your lips were.
i loved the way your eyes sparkled
when the sun's rays vested upon you.
i loved the way your smile
always warmed my cold chilled heart.
oh how i miss those times...
the times when you hugged me so hard that i could barley breathe
or when a day came that i didnt go to school
you were the first one to tell me "i missed you" or "i love you"
or when you made me laugh
so hard that i felt as if i were going to faint
-i will miss those times...i just want to say...
    ...i love you

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
