Failures as a past
What do you view as failure?
Is it the cessation of success?
Or is it the sensation of our own very thoughts, deluded and desensitized by the success of others?
What is your perception of failure?
Failure is the termination of your efforts,
That is failure,
Failure is the refusal to try,
That is failure,
Failure is the deliberate taking of one’s own life,
That is failure.
Yet, I know, you view yourself as a failure,
But you are not one,
It is merely the delusion of your own potentials that cause you to frown upon yourself.
You tell yourself that you will succeed,
You refuse to accept failure as an alternative,
And you overlook your limits,
Also, you are desensitized by the cruel reality,
And refusal to accept that it is simply that way,
You must realize that others are brilliant,
And you are too,
And also, that you may seem mediocre to others,
Yet you seem like master in another’s eyes,
We are all individuals who are absolutely unique,
We are filled with strengths, and also weaknesses,
For, as the Buddha says, “Absolute balance is perfection…”
We are already more than capable of living successfully,
Yet, we are such degenerated creatures of failure,
That it is almost impossible to do so,
So, rejoice in your own life,
For times shall fail,
And your own established order shall collapse,
As shall society,
But your hopes will never fade,
And neither shall your legacy,
For, even the greatest men shall fall,
Even the greatest women shall fall,
And you shall fall,
And I shall fall,
But your faith and strengths shall last,
Until your end, of your life,
And there is no regards to your failings,
For people never examine your failures,
But, on the contrary,
They notice you achievements, your great accomplishments,
And nothing more,
Live life to its fullest,
Then there is nothing you can regret,
For you have given your all,
And so, release your inner inhibitions,
Strip them away from you,
And do not allow past failures,
Or your insecurities,
Or your discomfort of the past,
Or even your own fears of the future,
Hold you back.
For there is nothing to fear,
There is nothing to risk,
Life is out there,
Waiting to clasp you in its arms,
And banish all those failures,
Kill those failures,
For they are of your past,
If you do not break them,
They shall form around your heart,
A hardened plaster cast.
Fear is merely idolatry of your greatest concerns,
Failure is the rape of your own vision of how you do things,
And inhibitions are a prison for your mind,
Silence is the death of your voice and expression.
But, a mistaken idea, I must clarify for all,
The releasing of inhibitions is not impulsiveness,
Nor is the end of silence a yelling of belligerence.
Merely, do not allow silence to suppress you,
Do not allow inhibitions to restrain you,
Nor allow fear to hinder you.
And be blessed for yourself, and live life as it is.
