    erasure

    erasing the lines
    to neutral
    coasting more often now
    from hilltop
    a downward, dotted vision
    toward soft surroundsight.

    clamoring against jagged stability,
    momentum upward tilting,
    thoughts windmilling your coreshield and
tolling cares at each found booth.

    morse lines & dashes
    fading toward disconnect.

A nice usage of ellipsis on display within your work. Nice!

I will be honest with you. I don't understand this one...but that is probably because it is way over my head. I am a simple poet, and I prefer for people to get the point, not try to figure out the puzzle. That is the beauty of everyone being different. I know there are many people who would love to analyze this.

Reading and rating anothers heart work strikes me as rather odd. This poem, wonderfully bitter sweet, discriptive, moving. I can tell you really cared...I find the disconnect hopeful in its finality.

I love this. Conveys a sense of angst without being contrived and precious. The second stanza especially: "clamoring against jagged stability..." what a lovely line! I also like the air of abrupt finality that the morse code image lends to the finish.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
