    Emotions

Hiding in the shadows watching from a far
Daydreaming of the time that we spent together
Tears building up about to burst into the open
Trying to refrain from confrontation afraid of hearing your words

Anger and Frustration egging me ceaselessly about what's happening
Considering all possible outcome's unsure of how to grasp the right one
Jealousy as well as pain becoming my only allies in this fight
Sorrow and regret the only lights that dimly shine my path

Failure not even being considered as an outcome
Frantically trying to hold dearly any hope that remains
Emotions playing trick's and clouding my judgment
To lose someone who means so much...is something I can't afford

The very thought and notion is treason in my eye
To even consider it as a possibility pains me to no end
And yet here I sit contemplating the very same obscene gesture
As I stand here overlooking the grave to our relationship...

I still can't help but yearn for it all again and again.

I relate. And it sucks that I can relate to something so epicly heartbreaking. Nyah. Since poems are supposed to bring out emotions in people.
