    Dreams,

    a mystery

    different theories

    abound

     

    repressed longing?

     

    Desires?

     

    Symbolism to be found?

     

    Reflection?

     

    Past memories?

     

    Perhaps...

    Prophetic revelations?

     

     

    One of those things in life

    never to be known

    in common

    between

    you and me

    our curiosity...

     

    crazy dreams-

     

    sad dreams-

     

    funny dreams-

     

    occasionally a nightmare occurs

     

    some have recurrent dreams

     

    dreams of flying-

     

    dreams of being chased-

     

    dreams of falling

    towards the ground

     

     

    sometimes they are remembered

    but more often not

    within moments of awakening

    they fade from our thoughts

     

    Between you and me...

    It's to be embraced

    close your eyes this night

    hope for sweet dreams to take place

    "I dreamed I was captured by pirates in my Maiden Form Bra"....God, I hated those commercials. But Shannie, I love your thoughts here on dreams................so dreamy........................g

    A very unique and well written approach to the subject of dreams. I think that sometimes we have dreams for all of the reasons that you describe here and at other times our minds are simply trying to help us relax by providing a little temporary escapist and vicarious living in a more pleasant environment.
