Distance
What is such to make me cry?
To speak allowed depressions lie...
Walk today, await the morrow,
of inner suffering... living sorrow.
Where's the light I often see,
bleeding feelings out of me?
Hoping always, still to find,
these days alone are so unkind.
Who are you to be so much?
I'd die to even trace one touch.
Your face, your hair, a scent of you,
would melt us to this love we drew.
Binding as our hearts we move,
This separation could only prove.
Holding tight, our loves faith through,
embracing softly me to you.
Truth we are, this dream we keep.
Inside is where our love runs deep.
Whence did it come? Beautiful rose.
Growing wild vine, the seeds it sows.
Deeper and deeper the feelings find,
our hearts are soft and so entwined.
Love uncommon, pines these days,
a drifting separate pink malaise.
Distance pales and vexes hollow,
hearts are yearning, tears we swallow.
Soon will be the time we see,
to share our life together we'll be.
