Deceptive Beauty

Deceptive Beauty

Beauty is so deceptive,
It can't be trusted,
It's so weak yet can't be destroyed,
So delicate yet so dangerous,
Beauty has built nations and has brought them to there knees.
yet we still kill each other to posses it.
Why do we desire this deceptive thing that can't be controlled?
What drives us to offer our lives for something so fleeting and unpredictable?
Yet we sacrifice our souls for but the merest glimpse.
Why?
