    Dear Brother

Living a life where you hold on to each other
trying not to let go, why'd you do this oh brother?
I don't understand how you got so involved
until that night where God got it solved.
Your ruining your life, oh can't you see?
Devil holds on tight, won't let you free
Pain in my soul, tears in my eyes
Where have you been hiding those lies?
I thought you changed for the better way
the time I saw you crying that day.
I woke up the next morning, on your bed you were still
I began to smile and happiness began to fill
over a period of time, you left again
I was feeling disappointed rather than distain
that night when you walked out the door, you let us down
with the words you were yelling, you made me frown
It was hard to breath and hard to swallow
But God told us not to worry, all we had to do was follow.
It's been three weeks since you've been away
but its okay, for I know that one day you will choose to stay.
