    Daddy

    Daddy how time does fly
I can barely hear your voice
    you left me crying
    holding onto the past
    I so need you Daddy
    to give me wisdom
to comfort me, dry my tears
My heart aches from missing you
No one is even like you
I didn't have time to say I love you
instead I lost my best friend
    My comfort, my wisdom
    overwhelmed so alone

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
