Confessions
When I feel down and blue,
All I think about is you.
Your smile makes my day shine
I can't think of nothing but fine.
When you left everything seemed gray,
I thought I would go astray,
But I have to hold on to sanity
It's the only thing left in me.
I thought I could never survive,
The pain you inflicted in me but I'm alive
Yet I know that I just exist
Without you it's all meaningless.
You taught me to be strong,
When you chose to leave me on my own
Getting over you wasn't an easy task
I had to wear a mask.
It has always been you in my heart
I never expected for us to be apart
yet there you are away and happy
While I'm here alone and lonely.
