Think About It

Think About It

Rejuvenated with simple thoughts,

Of how often we’ve fought.

Was it hate

or misunderstanding?

I know I’m quite demanding.

Confusing it may be

For this balancing act,

I must acknowledge that I’m guilty of that.

If you don’t respect me,

Should I respect you back?

It’s a guaranteed NO

And I’ll bet on that.

I try to be equal in all that I do

And what I expect is the same from you.

Communication is bad

Because we argue and not talk.

Honestly speaking it’s both our faults.

So making things right is what I wish to do,

So I can move forward,

but not without you.

Wow you read my mind with this one. Very good write!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
