Change

As  time goes by
We begin to detect
That all things have to change
No matter how much we want them to stay the same

We make continued efforts to stop any changes
But find that this is made up
from complete and hopeless power
Trying to stop change is like trying to end world hunger

You can at times decelerate change
But never can you completely correct your ideas about change
Change must become part of our existent as humans
Change has to be a concise battle between you and your inter self of peace…….

Once we as people accept change in our world
That will be when peace on this remarkable earth
Will be accomplished between every creature
Every race,  every country, and absolute freedom for all……

Yes, indeed, without change we would become static and perhaps rot. Your thought that once people accept change that there will be absolute freedom for all sounds great. The reality is that we definitely have gone thru many changes thru the centuries but always leaving power from violence intact. So, what is the answer?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
