BROWN SKIN
Brown skin,
Can I hold you, touch you and smell you,
Until the brown skin end?
I mean damn brown skin,
Can I feel you within, within me and all of me?
Now most people would think sex,
But that’s not what I mean when it comes to that
Brown skin.
My brown skin is smart, kind, loving, confident,
True and real to her brown skin,
And when I say brown skin I am talking about the
Women within me,
The brown skin I want to be.
At times, this brown skin has endured so much pain,
But now this skin I have grown to maintain is kind,
Loving, confident, true and real,
And most of all,
I am loving the new brown skin.
