    Bottles on a Shelf

As I stare down the crossroads, I look to the sky

Can I ask you a question?  I'm wondering why

can't I just spread my wings and fly(away)

I'm feeling like a tiger locked in a cage

I'm gonna have to find some release, or someone will feel the heat of this burning rage!

    Can't control what I feel

    It all seems so unreal

    I can't take this anymore!

Just give me what I've got in store

    Bring it!  Whatever may come!

This solitude is OK for some,

but you don't know where I'm from

    Enjoying love, loving pain

I can't wait an eternity for it to rain

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound

I look for my soul, but you can't find what's not there to be found

I can not take the pressure I put on myself

So I bottle my emotions and put them on a shelf
